A Covid-19 test center is open again on the East side Campus (Saint-Martin d'Hères)
During January, a Covid-19 test center is set up on the East side Campus.
This center is operated by the University Hospital CHUGA and is only accessible to students and staff of UGA (and all it member universities including Grenoble INP), who are presenting symptoms and/or who have been in contact with a person tested positive with Covid-19 and may not have respected all barrier gestures such as wearing a mask.
A the test center, precise information regarding the results of the test and the best behaviour to adopt will be provided.
Since October 15, 2020, the campus screening center has a third channel dedicated to the TROD (Rapid Diagnostic Orientation Test) test. The TROD allows you to receive the results 20 minutes after the test is performed. It is accessible to students and asymptomatic staff and not in contact with a positive Covid-19 case. The TRODs are set up as part of a research protocol validated by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency. Consequently, if the test is positive, a second sample should be taken for confirmation by PCR test.
This chain, complementary to the two PCR chains, makes it possible to test more quickly the contacts not contacted by the CPAM. In addition, the CHUGA screening center relocated to the university area will be closed during the week of educational breaks (Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2020). Students and staff will be received at the main screening center of CHUGA. (the precise details will be communicated to you shortly).
Access to the center
The center is located at " Centre de prélèvements RT-PCR au CHU Grenoble Alpes - Room Gilbert Faure (pavillon Vercors - parvis Belledonne)
From monday to wednesday, 9.00 - 12.00 AM / 12.40 - 16.00 PM.
For each appointment please provide an identity card, or a student card, or a professional card (for staff). Wearing a mask is mandatory, washing hands with hydroalcoolic solution is also mandatory upon entrance and exit of the premises.
Discussions are on-going to set up a similar center at Valence.
