The different types of financial support for students

Grenoble INP - UGA

Exemption from tuition fees on social criteria

Requests for exemption are examined by the Student Social Commission of the institution at a single session during the academic year.

Exemption from registration fees cannot be guaranteed, as the number of exempted students is limited by the national regulation and is calculated on the basis of the number of registered students. Your administrative registration is therefore required for the study of your file, in initial training, preparatory cycle, bachelor's degree, engineering cycle or master's degree at Grenoble INP - UGA.

The decision is based on a thorough social evaluation with an examination of the financial resources of the student and his/her family.

The exemption can be partial or total and concerns only the national amount of the tuition fees.

Procedure : a single commission is organised in november and scheduled with a strict timetable must be respected

IMPORTANT :
Before the beginning of the academic year in September, contact the registration office of your department to obtain the information needed to submit an application :

Exceptional Study Aid

The Exceptional Study Aid campaign is aimed at students in great financial difficulty.

Applications are examined by the institution's Student Social Committee at a single meeting during the academic year.

This is a financial aid scheme specific to the institution for students enrolled in initial training, preparatory courses, bachelor's degrees, engineering courses or master's degrees at Grenoble INP - UGA, who request it because of their personal situation.

The decision is based on a thorough social evaluation with an examination of the financial resources of the student and his/her family. The aid is granted in a single payment. The amount is determined each year according to the number of applications submitted and the budget allocated for this purpose in the institution's budget.
