The Grand Cercle
The Grand Cercle is the Student Office (Bureau Des Élèves - BDE) of Grenoble INP - UGA. It represents the interests of students from the eight engineering and management schools of Grenoble INP - UGA and the INP Preparatory School in Grenoble.
The Grand Cercle organizes events throughout the year to bring students together and offer various activities. Key events include the Welcome Weekend (WEA) for first-year students, the Gala featuring a dinner, show, and dance, and the Ol'INPiades, an inter-school sports tournament. They also host concerts with renowned artists and regular themed parties.
As a central part of student life at Grenoble INP - UGA, the Grand Cercle provides numerous activities and events, helping students meet, enjoy themselves, and have a unique student experience.

Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Engagement:
- INPulse-Adelphie: LGBT+ (INPulse) and feminist (Adelphie) association of Grenoble INP - UGA

- BIE: The International Student Office is an association of students from Grenoble INP - UGA that provides personalized welcome, integration, and support for international students spending a semester or a full year at Grenoble INP - UGA.
- IAESTE Grenoble: Aims to promote international cooperation through internships.
- BEST: Aims to create an international network of exchange between European students through various events such as cultural exchanges, engineering competitions, and week-long courses abroad on specific topics.

- Fanfarnaque: The brass band of Grenoble INP - UGA.

- Le Raid: Organizes a major sporting adventure that begins with a prologue in March and continues with a two-day mixed-team exploration of the Grenoble mountains in May.
- Le Poly’raid: Organizes an annual inclusive raid open to all students and staff of the Université de Grenoble Alpes, staff of partner companies of Polytech Grenoble, and event sponsors.
- Club Montagne: Aims to popularize and facilitate access to the mountains around Grenoble.
- INPride: A community that brings together all the riders of Grenoble INP - UGA and organizes outings to skateparks, ski resorts, and other events.

- Club d'oenologie de Grenoble INP - UGA: Aims to introduce students and faculty to various wine tasting techniques.

To receive the best support and enjoy various benefits, each association or club must register its existence and obtain approval.
- Why a Student Organization Charter?

Objectives:
- Prevent, identify, and combat risky behaviors: Focus on issues related to the consumption of addictive substances and unethical behaviors (violence, discrimination, harassment) during the organization of student events.
- Ensure respectful use of facilities: Maintain the image of the institution by ensuring proper use of both on-campus and externally rented spaces.
How?
- Fostering dialogue: Engage with associations to encourage responsibility.
- Providing information and training: Equip association leaders and/or representatives with the principles of event organization.
- Offering support: Assist associations in event planning through advisory roles, including a prevention committee at the school/institution level.
Among the Benefits of Approval Are:
- Access to student life spaces: includes facilities at the school or institution level (Maison de Grenoble INP, Escape, and specific spaces within schools).
- Funding opportunities: ability to submit funding requests for projects to the Commission for the Support of Student Initiatives (CSIE) and the Solidarity and Development Fund for Student Initiatives (FSDIE) of UGA.
- Annual agreements and financial aid: some institutional associations may receive annual agreements with financial support.
- Training opportunities: access to training in administrative management, risk management at events, etc.
- ENGAGé status: members can request ENGAGé status.

ENGAGé Status
Grenoble INP - UGA has long recognized the commitment of its students to associative, institutional, and civic life. Each year, around 150 students at Grenoble INP - UGA receive ECTS credits (with or without adjustments to their academic schedule) for their involvement in various associations within the institution, schools, or with external civic organizations.
