Co-chair of Génie Energétique et Nucléaire engineering syllabus of Grenoble INP - PHELMA, UGA

Initially trained in Applied Physics (Electrical Enginering / Telecom / Electronics /IEEE), Adrien Bidaud made his PhD in the field of Nuclear Data Sensitivity and Uncertainty Analysis of advanced nuclear reactors (Molten Salt Reactors). This initial field of simulations that connects the smallest scale of nuclear physics to reactors' operation has been connected to the larger scale of nuclear fuel cycle simulations and nuclear energy economics and into energy economics and long term energy prospectives. Today, his teaching and research activities covers all the spectrum from the numerical methods associated with reactor's operation simulation to the study of decarbonization scenarios.
